Honestly I don't even know where to start with all the praises and the phenomenal experience I had this weekend. This was my first exotic hunt and I had no idea what I was getting into. The communication with Derek was excellent and was able to answer every question before I arrived on the ranch. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Derek and Lisa. They showed me to the hunters bunkhouse which was in perfect shape and very comfortable and had all the necessities you could possibly need. We immediately went out and started the hunt to which Derek is very informative and told me what to expect. He didn't color coat anything and everything was exactly as he said which I really appreciate. The menu for the weekend for food was absolutely amazing and the main lodge was very comfortable and inviting. Being able to sit down with the family and be treated as part of it was a nice surprise. Made a good weekend and bagged a nice red stag, black Hawaiian ram, and finish off with a painted dessert ram. Definitely the top five best experiences of my life and we will be back next year and every year after that without a doubt. Thank you again to Derek, Lisa and Charles for their hospitality and phenomenal experience. Can't wait to see y'all guys again.

If you are looking to get your money's worth of a hunt and a trophy of a lifetime, then you are at the right place. Derek will take care of you and stop at nothing to ensure you are having the best time. My family and friends came to hunt here and got a lot of firsts off the list. Shot an amazing 36 inch winter axis buck. I couldn't be more thankful of this man. We definitely will be back in the spring to knock some more down. Big Country Exotics is a one stop shop for entry level hunters to experienced hunters. Everyone at BCE will go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need to make you feel at home. I went on a hunt for a huge Texas Dall, my first time ever and Derek was very informative and taught me a lot on hunting the sheep. The food is immaculate and you will not leave hungry.
