Booking Procedures

Once your date of hunt has been confirmed, we will email our hunter profile and guest profile packet for you to fill out and return.  Once you receive this packet please fill them out, sign and return it with the deposit to secure the hunt dates.  The hunt dates are not secured until all paperwork and deposits are received.  Normal requirement is 50% of the hunt.  

Lodging & Non-Hunting Guest

Meals, lodging and guide fees are included in the cost of the hunt.  Hunts excluding rams only are 3 day 2 night stay.  All ram only hunts are 2 day 1 night hunts.  Each non-hunting guest is $200 per night for meals & lodging.  Any balance due for the remainder of the hunt will be paid at the conclusion of the hunt.  We accept cash, checks, venmo, paypal and credit cards (processing fees do apply).  

Cancellations / Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable.  If you have to cancel due to an emergency happening, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule.  Our goal at Big Country Exotics is for you to experience a great successful hunt.  It is called hunting and due to that nature, there are no guarantees to the success of any hunt.  

Gratuities

Gratuities are not required on any of our hunts but are greatly appreciated.  It is generally customary in the hunting industry as a standard of 20% for the guide.  Please use your discretion to determine a fair amount for your hunting experience.   

Hunting Policies

Wounded animals will be considered a harvest.  Big Country Exotics will do everything we can to make every effort to recover the animal.  In the event that no visual evidence is found, it will be at the guides discretion to make the call if the animal was wounded.  In the event that tracking dogs are needed, the hunter will be responsible of all the cost to use this service.  Processing and taxidermy are the responsibility if the hunter.  Hunting license, shipping of capes and/or antlers are the responsibility of the hunter.  

Ranch Policies

Hunts typically begin at noon on Friday and departure is noon on Sunday.
